Industrial Collaboration

With more than 40 years of hands-on experience driving the development of photovoltaic technologies, the IEC has long been the go-to research and development resource. As a part of the University of Delaware, the IEC is an independent institution, dedicated to a set of established academic interests. This objectivity and unparalleled experience makes it an ideal research partner.

Projects come in to the IEC from a variety of sources, including: Government Programs involving grants from various agencies; Private Industry seeking to answer questions or requiring specialized technological expertise; or Universities and National Laboratories seeking specific resources or collaboration.

The IEC is very flexible in approaching these relationships. This section of the site provides information about how you can work with the IEC, as well as the Intellectual Property rules established by the University of Delaware to protect such projects.
